The store is being developed between Burlington Coat Factory and Linens 'N Things. David's Bridal is expected to occupy the space before the end of the year. Lease rates for retail space in the mall, which is now built out, run between $17 and $18 per sf, triple net.

Trammell Crow Co.'s Ron Dowhanuik brokered the build-to-suit lease deal with mall owner Harsch Investment on behalf of David's Bridal. "They wanted to be as close to Washington Square Mall as they could without actually being in it because they want customers to be able to drive right up to the store," Dowhanuik tells GlobeSt.com. "We have offers out for a location on the Eastside as well."

The chain's first Northwest store opened at the end of July in Olympia, WA. A Tacoma store will open next month. Another Washington store is also in the works for Lynwood, WA.
