Drug Manufacturer Opts for N. Phoenix Hotspot in New Lease

PHOENIX-A nuclear medicine manufacturer has signed for a 7,000-sf R&D-flex spot in one of the Valley's hotspots for office and industrial growth. Building owner Panattoni is putting out the welcome mat for Nycomed Amersham.

PHOENIX-A company that provides radioactive drugs to the medical research and hospital industry has leased 7,000 sf in north Phoenix.

Nycomed Amersham will be moving into a research and development-flex building at 20601 N. 19th Ave. The structure is positioned on the southeast corner at 19th Avenue’s intersection with Mohawk Lane. It is less than a mile east of Interstate 17 and within of Loop 101.

Nycomed Amersham, which is relocating from within Phoenix, is one of the world leaders in the development, manufacture and supply of innovative products for the diagnosis and treatment of disease. The company’s global operations consist of research, development and manufacturing facilities in Europe, North America, China and Japan. Amersham’s products are used in hospitals, clinics, research laboratories and pharmaceutical companies.
