2 Motels Going on the Auction Block

ROMULUS, MI-Minimum bids totaling $3.75 million could move a 123-room Day's Inn in Bridgeport, MI as well as an 83-room Ramada Limited in Perrysburg, OH. Sheldon Good & Co. swings the gavel here Sept. 17.

ROMULUS, MI-Two motels, in the Detroit suburb of Bridgeport, MI and Perrysburg, OH near Toledo, will go on the auction block here Sept. 17. The auction will be conducted by Chicago-based Sheldon Good & Co. at the Best Western Gateway International Hotel in this suburb in the shadow of Detroit Metro Airport.

The opening bid for a 123-room Day’s Inn in Bridgeport will be $1.95 million, with a $75,000 certified check the required ticket to bid. The property is at exit 144 of Interstate-75. “The current absentee owner of the Days Inn is retiring and has directed the hotel’s immediate sale, presenting a tremendous upside opportunity for a buyer at auction,” says Sheldon Good & Co. president Alan R. Kravets.
