Clark Realty Set to Break Ground on Arlington Community

ARLINGTON, VA-Clark Realty Capital will soon break ground here for the Hudson, a 293-unit apartment community to be constructed directly across from the Clarendon Metro station. In a statement, Clark Realty said the 317,000-sf project is still in its design phase, but the firm plans to break ground this fall. The first units will be available for lease in the spring of 2003.

The development will straddle 12th Street, with a three-story archway over the road. A 151-unit, 12-story tower will be located on the 12th Street side. From the fourth floor and above, the complex will rise over the roadway for nine floors. On the other side of the street, this tower will join a four-story, 142-unit apartment building designed to resemble a block of row houses. Two levels of underground parking will service both buildings.
