In his new position, McGetrick is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive database of commercial property activity, publishing market-trend reports, and providing brokers with customized financial analyses for their clients' portfolios.

McGetrick told GlobeSt.com that he is presently a staff of one, with an intern. The manager, a member of the Urban Land Institute, comes to Advantis from Parkway Properties, and he recently earned a masters degree in business administration from Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Real Estate here.

McGetrick said he will produce quarterly reports on commercial properties, including office, industrial and retail.
