The sign joins such other prominent headquarters signs that have recently been added to the skyline such as Lawson Software. The St. Paul has been undergoing a significant branding campaign over the past few years, and this sign will help to increase the visibility in its hometown.
"After almost 150 years, it's time to proudly display our name in the city that is our namesake," says Douglas W. Leatherdale, chairman and chief executive officer.
The St. Paul provides commercial property-liability insurance and non-life reinsurance worldwide. Last year, it reported revenue from continuing operations of $8 billion, total assets of $35.5 billion.
