The Chino facility, which is located in Chino, encompasses 33,500 sf and sold for $2.5 million. It stands at 4115 Schaefer Ave. The buyer, Chino-based AA Bridal/Apex TK, has already occupied the building. A manufacturer and wholesaler of bridal headwear, the company will use the space for light manufacturing and distribution. AA Bridal has relocated from its previous site in Chino.
The seller, Majestic Realty, was represented in-house by Kevin McCarthy. AA Bridal was represented by a Grubb & Ellis brokerage team consisting of Karl Heim and Mark Kegans. Both Heim and Kegans work in the firm's Ontario office.
According to local experts, the Inland Empire's industrial sector is holding its own, despite a national slowdown. However, some experts do warn that supply may outpace demand in the months ahead, as more new product is dumped onto the market.
