Magis has said iy is expanding due to an increase in staff and the need for additional meeting and lab space. Details about the transaction weren't immediately available.
``Magis has experienced phenomenal growth over the past several months,'' says Clarence Bruckner, CEO and founder. ``We quickly outgrew our original space and were fortunate to swiftly find suitable space to ensure continued smooth operations and comfortable space.''
The company last year leased a single floor of the building at 12651 High Bluff Drive. Now, it's taking over an entire three-story building. The first phase of tenant improvements is expected to be completed in the first week of September. All improvements will be completed by November 2001 enabling the company to fully expand into the much-needed space.
