Denise Mills has been named director of MORPAC, the association's voluntary, nonpartisan PAC. Immediately prior to taking this position, Mills worked for Kelly and Associates, a local public affairs firm.
Before working with corporate clients at Kelly, Mills was a special assistant to U.S. Senator Spencer Abraham (R-MI). Mills replaced Christie McGhee as director.
The second new staff member is Alicemary Leach. Leach will join the government and regulatory affairs team as director of legislation. There are now 15 members in that group, including Leach and Mills.
Leach will specialize in commercial issues. Those issues will include tax, brownfields and small business. She previously worked for the U.S. House of Representatives' committee on veteran affairs, as senior counsel for the majority.
