Landon Plans $3-Mil Retail Center in SW Suburb

LITTLETON, CO-The 16,000-sf Shops at Riverbend will include restaurants, coffee houses, bistros, small specialty shops, serving as a gateway to this community's Downtown. It is expected to open in early 2002.

LITTLETON, CO-Veteran urban developer Landon Enterprises will break ground next month on the 16,000-sf Shops at Riverbend in this southwest suburban community. Landon Enterprises is based in Denver.

The new development, which will cost about $200 per sf when the land is included, will include restaurants, coffee houses, bistros, small specialty shops. It will serve as the gateway to Downtown Littleton.

“Riverbend is now 50% pre-leased with a tenant mix to include Peaberry Coffee, Baja Fresh, Subway Sandwiches, and Panda Express,” says Bob Bramble, senior director of Frederick Ross Co., which found the land at Prince Street and Santa Fe Boulevard and is leasing and marketing the project. “Construction will begin with the demolition of the existing building and is scheduled for completion mid-January with a grand opening slated for first quarter 2002.”
