An April 1, 2002 occupancy date is targeted for the new building, which offers 30-foot clear ceilings and four loading docks. Construction was sparked by the fact that Wick has leased more than 300,000 sf of warehouse/distribution space at BrunsWick Industrial Center in the last 12 months.
Among the tenants signed during that period, according to Wick vice president Jon Freeman, are L'Oreal USA, PrimeSource Building Products, International Swimming Pools and OHM Laboratories. More recently, Feller, GmbH, a maker of electrical cord sets, signed a long-term lease for 20,231 sf, bringing the park's occupancy to 100%.
"This leasing activity during the past year is a sign of the vitality of New Brunswick as a warehouse/distribution/light manufacturing area," according to Freeman. Altogether, Wick manages and is exclusive broker for over two million sf of office, industrial, retail and wireless communication facilities.
