SBI has now taken over 27,333 sf of space previously leased by MarchFirst, an Internet consulting firm which went bankrupt earlier this year. The lease term is for three years at a rate of $26.40 per sf, annually, triple net.
SBI will occupy the entire second floor and half of the ground floor at 410 Townsend St. in San Francisco's South of Market district. The company will relocate from its current California Street address.
Michael Karasik and Jean Ko of ROK Properties represented Rosenberg SOMA Investments in the deal. SBI was represented in house.
The building is a four-story brick and timber building that has recently been fully renovated. According to Karasik, $100 per sf of tenant improvements has been completed. The building uses a card key access system and features fiber optic connections.
