Local Realty Firm to Use Digital Leases

NEWTON, MA- Newton Centre Realty becomes the first local real estate firm to conduct its transactions online. The commercial and residential real estate firm signed with locally based Signitas Corporation to use its TruSign digital signature service.

The service enables all legally binding real estate transactions to be done online. According to Bruno Tramontozzi, president of Signitas, this enables multiple parties to collaborate on the documents as leases can be edited online and signed from anywhere. The service was made possible with the recent passage of Esign, legislation that grants electronic signatures the legal enforceability of any signature.
