The Tutoring Club, a company that provides private tutoring, was in the market for a convenient location that is easily accessible to students, and leased the space at 2029 Novato Boulevard mainly because it is located between San Marin High School and Novato High School.
Hagen Ongaro of Orion Partner, Limited represented The Tutoring Club, while Horizon properties was represented in house. Ongaro says that Novato is seeing a lot of demand as of lately, as it is considerably less expensive than the rest of Marin County.
The Tutoring Club is a new company and was interested in the space because they liked the center and it was a good size for the company, says Ongaro. The lease rate is on the lower end of the average $1.30-$2 asking price for Novato, he says.
