Raytheon Moves Into New Campus

AURORA, CO-The Lexington, MA-based high-tech company moves into a two-building, 175,000-sf complex in the CentreTech Business Park here. The company signs a 10-year lease on the property built by Panattoni Development.

AURORA, CO-Raytheon Co., one of the largest industrial corporations in the US, has moved into the latest phase of its 400,000-sf office campus. Panattoni Development completed its two-building, 175,000-sf contract in the CentreTech Business Park for Raytheon, which signed a 10-year lease.

Raytheon operates two core businesses in Aurora. One is a large-scale data processing ground systems for satellite and space-based programs and the other is a secure managed service data hosting for commercial and government customers.

A total of 1,821 employees work there and its boasts $300 million in revenues last year. While other high-tech companies are laying off people this year, Raytheon has bucked the trend and hired 350. Many of the jobs were for high-paying engineer positions.
