Many of its clients are national homebuilders and lenders, says Michael Castleman, whose father founded the company more than 25 years ago. But it also gets a fair number of commercial clients, Castleman tellsGlobeSt.com.
''We don't do commercial market studies, but anyone that needs to count therooftops needs our services,'' Castleman tells GlobeSt.com. ''In many cities, Wal-Mart is a customer. We've had retail strip developers in Dallas, and a number of REITs as customers.''
S. Robert August, a real estate consultant in Denver, agrees that such a service is valuable to those in the commercial real estate information.
''It's valuable information for anyone who needs to know how many rooftops are here today and want to know how many there will be tomorrow,'' August says.
