"Because of the unusually large, 68,000-sf floor plate at 175 W. Jackson, the SEC will be able to house all of its office space on one floor in the building," says Menahem Deitcher, leasing director for the building.
The Staubach Company represented the SEC in negotiations that produced a 10-year lease of the building's ninth floor.
An unrelated deal in the building sees Netherlands-based securities and trading firm ING Barrings take 5,044 sf on the 22nd floor. Julien J. Studley. Inc., represented the company, which is moving from One Financial Place, in negotiations on a 10-year lease.
There is approximately 500,000 sf of space available in the 23-story, 1.45-million-sf building.
