The company also moved it store solutions operation and training products subsidiary to the building at 5607 Palmer Way. Details about the transaction were not immediately available.
"This move brings us closer to our primary retail operations in Irvine. Furthermore, our new Carlsbad facility is dedicated to our use, which is a significant improvement over our former multi-tenant office location,'' says Tom Dorosewicz, SVI's chief executive officer. ``We now have a beautiful new facility in an emerging high-tech area of northern San Diego."
He added that the company will be able to "significantly reduce our operating costs and improve our operational efficiencies."
SVI provides multi-channel technology solutions to retailers. The company's suite of offerings includes store systems as well as enterprise management, merchandising and direct-to-consumer.
