Construction is set to begin next spring and the store is scheduled to open in the fall of 2003. A formal announcement will be made at 2:45 p.m. today at Redmond Town Center's Center Street Plaza, a source at the mall confirmed for GlobeSt.com.
Redmond Town Center currently has 100 shops and 15 restaurants, as well as a movie theater. Macerich is a real estate investment trust that focuses on the acquisition and redevelopment of regional malls and community centers throughout the United States. Macerich owns interests in 46 regional malls and five community centers totaling over 41.5 million square feet.
