Firm Donates Services to Build Sports Facility

MINNETONKA, MN- Oppidan Investment Co., whose principals include the incoming president of the Minnetonka Youth Hockey Association, contributes services to help build a hockey facility next to Minnetonka High School.

MINNETONKA, MN-Construction has begun on a new $1.5-million sports facility as part of Minnetonka High School. The facility, which is expected to be ready in November, is expected to include a 1,100-seat ice hockey rink and training facility, an indoor track, weight room and multipurpose flooring.

The project’s developer, Oppidan Investment Co., is contributing its services– Joe Ryan, a principal in Oppidan, is incoming president of the Minnetonka Youth Hockey Association, which is one of several community groups that will share the hockey arena with the high school. RSP Architects of Minneapolis is designing the project while Kraus Anderson Construction Co. in Minneapolis is the general contractor.
