The three brokers - Roy Hirshland, Greg Hoffmeister and Mark Cote--were all part of Meredith & Grew's technology practices group. They have named their new firm T3 Realty Advisors LLC with Hirshland serving as president of the new company.
According to Kathleen O'Donnell, director of client services for the new firm, the company's niche is tech-based. The firm reportedly will not represent building owners but will help tech companies grow, build or even downsize.
Ironically, last month another new realty firm--Richards Barry Joyce & Partners LL--made its debut in Boston. Brokers in that new firm also were some of this city's largest firms. Richards Barry Joyce is focusing on tenants in the Greater Boston area and will not be representing owners.
