Once negotiations are settled, ANFI will jointly apply with the respective brokers for title agency licenses, according to a company spokesperson. ANFI will own 51% of the new agencies, with the brokers owning 49%.

"These arrangements are something that we are very excited about because we're of a size that enables us to put joint ventures together in major markets which we need to penetrate," says Michael C. Lowther, ANFI's CEO and chairman of the board. "We have the blueprint for these ventures in place and are ready to proceed in the near future."

ANFI provides title insurance services, as well as other title related financial and information services.
