PEEKSKILL-The fifth annual conference being staged by the Historic Hudson River Towns of Westchester consortium will feature a discussion of the proposed “Lighthouse Landing at Sleepy Hollow” project that involves the redevelopment of the former General Motors assembly plant.

Sleepy Hollow Mayor Philip Zegarelli will be among the featured speakers at the Sept. 13 event, Fifth Annual Planning Conference of Historic River Towns of Westchester. Zegarelli will discuss the latest developments in the project that will reshape this community’s future for years to come. The all-day conference begins at 8:30 a.m. at Crystal Bay Restaurant in Peekskill

On June 21, General Motors announced that Roseland Property Company of Short Hills, NJ, had been selected as the designated developer for the 99-acre-site situated nearby the Tappan Zee Bridge.
