The 21-acre facility is in the Inman Park area east of Downtown at 810 Lake Ave., NE. The Dayton, OH-based company employs about 215 people and produces school and office products.

Mead's plants in Alexandria, PA, Garden Grove, CA and St. Joseph, MO are expected to continue operations.

The Pittsburgh office of Jones, Lang LaSalle will be marketing the property. JLL Asset Manager Dan Adamski tells GlobeSt.com most of the interest to date is from multifamily and retail developers.

"Most of (the interest) has been in the land value," Adamski says. "All the interest so far has been in mixed use. The area has been gentrified since the plant was built; it's no longer really a manufacturing area."
