ORLANDO-A late afternoon storm Sept. 5 collapsed a 1,500-sf section of a newly resurfaced flat roof at the 300,000-sf, 10-year-old Art & Frame Direct wholesale art warehouse, 11423 Satellite Blvd., south Orlando. The struck roof portion fell to the floor of the warehouse but 100 employees working in the building at the time were not injured.

Owners George and Dorothy Eouse are assessing the damage amount today. Their inventory is valued at an estimated $5 million, vendors who deal with the Eouses tell GlobeSt.com on condition of anonymity. The Eouses bought the building in 1995 for $1.1 million, according to Orange County real estate records.
