Barry Swenson Builders is developing a two-story hotel on 2212 Beach Boulevard in Pacifica. The Pacifica Sunbeach Hotel will feature 40-200 rooms with ocean views, as well as a restaurant and swimming pool. The project is estimated to cost about $10 million.
The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors is working with Turner Construction Company to build a 30,000 sf office structure on Tower Road in Belmont that will serve as the San Mateo Forensics Lab & Offices. The project's construction will begin this month, and will take about 14 months to complete. The project will cost about $10 million, and will include a forensics lab and several associated offices.
In addition, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is constructing a 10,987 sf, two-story cultural center on 975 Sneath Lane in San Bruno. The site area is about two acres and features 34 parking spaces. The development will cost about $3 million.
