Microsoft will be relocating from nearby Prospect Place in Prospect Hill Office Park where it was leasing 35,000 sf. According to Michael Cantalupa, senior vice president of development for Boston Properties, owner/developer of the property, the company signed a seven-year lease and anticipates that it will utilize all of the space over the lease term. currently under construction and scheduled to be completed this December, the 304,000-sf, six-story Class A office building will include a café and a fitness facility.

John J. Boyle, a principal at Trammell Crow Company in Boston represented Microsoft here. Cantalupa along with David Provost, vice president of marketing for Boston Properties, represented Boston Properties. They were assisted and represented by Brian Hines, principal, and David Campbell, vice president of the Trammell Crow Company.

"With a tenant like Microsoft, it can't be anything but good news," notes Cantalupa, who points out that Microsoft is the building's first signed tenant. "The fact that we were able to lure them from their current location says many things about this property," he says.
