$9-Mil Corporate Camp Nearing Completion

FREMONT, CA- The developer, City Beach, Inc. built the original facility to provide adults with a place to let off some steam, while offering corporations a place to encourage employees to learn how to work together as a team, while building leadership and trust skills.

FREMONT, CA- City Beach Inc. is nearing completion of its $9-million adventure camp. The facility measures 45,000 sf and is replete with rope swings, gymnasiums and a 40-foot rock climbing tower.

The place will be geared toward adventure, and expects to host mainly corporate events, for which it will charge for food, drinks and a range of sporting and team events. Some of the games will include rock climbing, giant jigsaw puzzles, sand castle building, water balloons, and hula-hoops.<PCity Beach first developed a 23,000-sf indoor facility in Emeryville, which opened in 1992. Consisting of two beach sand courts, three hard surface sport courts, weight and fitness equipment, a restaurant cafe, and men's and women's locker rooms, Emeryville was the first prototype sport facility of its kind in the Western United States. Programs offered included leagues, classes, open play, tournaments, food & beverage service, memberships and birthday parties.
