DENVER-Centura Health, Colorado’s largest health care system, completed its $12-million purchase of 40 acres at Parker Road and E-470 in Douglas County from Crowne Pointe LLC. The faith-based, non-profit health systems plans to build medical office space and a full-service hospital on the property.
Centura hired Dallas-based HKS as the architect. A general contractor will be hired in the coming weeks.
“Now that we’ve finalized the purchase of the land and selected an architect, we’re ready to move forward with some crucial next steps,” says Joseph R. Swedish, Centura Health president and chief executive officer. “In coming months, we will be identifying a name and requesting the assistance of a community advisory group to help determine how the facility can best meet the needs of the community.”
