SpringRidge at Charbonneau, built in 1990, is a 180-unit independent living community in Wilsonville, about 20 miles south of Portland. The expansion of the community is designed to offer assisted-living and dementia-care that will provide a spectrum of residential choices for seniors in the region, according to Senior Resource officials. "Construction of SpringRidge Court will provide a tremendous benefit to the people of this area," says John Helser, president of the Wilsonville City Council. "We welcome Senior Resource Group's initiative in building a modern, full-service senior living community that fills a real need for assisted living and Alzheimer's care."

Senior Resource Group began as managing operator of SpringRidge at Charbonneau in 1990 and acquired ownership of the community in June 2000, according to Michael Grust, president of Senior Resource Group.

"Building the assisted-living and dementia-care components at SpringRidge Court complete the vision we had for this community when we first became involved here more than a decade ago," he says.

Senior Resource Group is the developer of the project and will manage and operate the new community when it is completed in about a year.
