ORANGE COUNTY-The El Toro airport proposal will go up for its Sept. 17 vote with the backing of the Orange County Planning Commission behind it, as the five-member commission has voted three to two to recommend approval of the airport plan to the Orange County Board of Supervisors.
The supervisors will be voting Monday on an airport proposal that includes thousands of pages of documents and an environmental impact report. It is expected that the Board of Supervisors will approve the plan in a three to two vote. The meeting, which will be begin at 9:30 a.m., will be held in the Board Hearing Room at 10 Civic Center Plaza in Santa Ana.
