Harley Moving to 50,000-SF Facility

GREEN OAKS, IL-Harley Davidson Motor Co. will take 50,000 sf in a facility being built around an existing building at 14000 Rockland Rd. in this affluent Lake County suburb north of Chicago. In addition to the warehouse and distribution space staked out by the motorcycle maker, the facility one mile from I-94 will include 35,000 sf of speculative office and warehouse space when it is completed next spring.

“Construction of this project is unique in that we are building a new facility around and over the top of an existing 30,000 square foot industrial building,” says Trammell Crow Co. Vice President Rick Delisle. “The former warehouse will be totally enclosed by the new facility and utilized as the Harley Davidson Bike Shop.”
