Deltek Systems Inc. has signed a 10-year lease for 81,224 sf in the 151,748-sf building. The lease will begin in March 2002. In a statement, Prentiss said that the space would serve as corporate headquarters for Deltek. The technology firm provides application software to businesses and professional service firms. Additionally, Prentiss said Deltek has agreed to lease a to-be-determined amount of space at 2411 Dulles Corner Road, a nearby 177,000-sf office building, also owned by Prentiss.
The other lease for the building, which was acquired in early July, was signed later that same month with Perot Systems for 70,524 sf of space. Prentiss is based in Dallas, and owns or operates commercial property in six regional markets, including the Washington metropolitan area. Prentiss own interests in 141 properties with about 16.8 million sf, and five development projects with about 676,000 sf.
