Scantron will occupy most of a 126,000-sf building, which is located in the Irvine Spectrum. The company is planning to occupy the facility in March 2002. It stands at 34 Parker.

Scantron's new facility will allow the company to expand its Scanning and Surveys divisions, which are currently located at the firm's world headquarters in Tustin, CA. Approximately 300 of Scantron's 600 employees will be housed in the new facility, according to Cushman & Wakefield broker Jeffrey Chiate, who worked on the deal.

Chiate and Rick Ellison, also of Cushman & Wakefield, represented Scantron. The landlord, Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co., was represented by Trent Walker and Sam Olmstead of the Voit Co.
