SEMCOG Adds More Development Tools to Website

DETROIT-The Southeast Michigan Council of Governments has added a new component to its Web site — the Community Development Connection. The connection is a planning and technical assistance resource for community and economic development practitioners and for every community involved in the local process.

A joint effort between SEMCOG, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Michigan Community Development Directors Association, CDC provides access to statewide and national CED resources, including:

* Updates on current issues such as funding notices, HUD news and CED related legislation.
