While at CB Richard Ellis, Barker was an associate in the multi-housing properties group and directed the investment team's activity in the private capital apartment market. During the past two years, Barker was partially responsible for the local property tours, market analysis and direction of the marketing of $100 million of investment real estate.
Two notable transactions are the sale of River Oaks North Apartments, 424 units in Rochester Hills, valued at $44 million; and Sutton Place Apartments, a 516-unit complex in Southfield, valued at $37 million.
