ROSEVILLE, CA-Commercial and retail real estate development may have halted across the country but people are still lining up to buy their milk and eggs. Safeway Grocery Stores, Inc. proves this by opening three new stores in El Dorado, Yolo and Placer Counties.

Safeway Grocery Store 2620 is scheduled to begin development at the end of the year. The developer, Wall Street Properties, will construct a 55,000 sf building on a 9-acre site at Woodcreek Oaks and Blue Oaks Boulevards in Roseville. The store will cost an estimated $4 million to build, and will feature 745 parking spaces.
