Formerly the Ramada Central, the 215-room facility is operated by NPHD Inc. and managed by Hotel Managers Group LLC under a franchise agreement with Red Lion Hotels Inc., a franchise subsidiary of the Beverly Hills, CA-based Hilton Hotels Corp.
"There continues to be strong interest from the Midwest for Red Lion Hotels & Inns that fits in nicely with our development efforts and plans to become a national brand," Tom Murray, chief operating officer of Red Lion Hotels & Inns and senior vice president -- hotel division for Hilton Hotels Corp. says in announcing the opening. "Our Omaha location in America's heartland offers both diverse recreational and cultural opportunities year-round and will allow Red Lion to gain further exposure with business and leisure travelers."
Business facilities include six meeting rooms with 5,500 square feet of meeting space and can host groups up to 250. A self-service business center is available with a computer, copier, fax machine and Internet access.
Hotel recreational facilities include an indoor pool, whirlpool and a fitness center.
Hilton Hotels Corp. develops, owns, manages or franchises more than 2,000 hotels, resorts and vacation ownership properties.
