The other three cities are Tampa, FL; Redondo Beach, CA and Orange, CA. Design Forum of Dayton, OH supplied creative input for the new design concept, which enhances functionality and emphasizes the company's unique in-store candy-making operation.
"The challenge was to transition to a contemporary look that is tailored to be moreeffective in upscale retail environments, without losing our original appeal," says Franklin Crail, president and chief executive officer Durango, CO-based Rocky Mountain.
The company, which says its stores average up to 1,000 sf, plans to open four additional new concept stores by the end of the year in Columbus, OH; Atlanta; Valencia, CA and Broomfield, CO.
