Munson, formerly a vice president for the regional real estate firm, Norris, Beggs & Simpson, has held similar property management posts in the past. At Norris, Beggs & Simpson, she managed 1.5 million sf of office, retail and industrial properties She also did similar work at at Rockwood Development in Salem, OR and Equities Northwest/Killian Properties in Portland, OR.
"We are thrilled to have Cathy on board," Schnitzer Northwest Managing Principal, Dan Ivanoff said in announcing the new hire. "We searched long and hard for the right person to manage our Civica property and we couldn't have found a better person. She is very skilled and will be asignificant addition to the Schnitzer Northwest team."
Ivanoff says there is now less than 33,000 SF of office space available in Civica.
"I had been previously with Noriss Beggs in the Portland office for nine years and up here for 10 years," Munson says. "I just thought that this looked like an interesting challenge."
