Fujikin of America Inc. makes and sells automatic control equipment, gas control units, valves and fittings. The American subsidiary of Japan-based Fujikin Inc. has 1,320 employees companywide and locations in the United States, Germany, Singapore, China and Ireland. The Austin location puts Fujikin close to Advanced Micro Devices Inc. and the Sematech International research organization, both in southeast Austin. It also is equidistant to Motorola Inc.'s chip manufacturing operations in Oak Hill and East Austin.
The building is in the southeast Austin submarket at the corner of Ben White Boulevard and Woodward Street, just east of Interstate 35. The anchor tenant is Well Fargo Bank. Charlie Hill of Colliers Oxford Commercial handled the transaction.
