Charter One Leases 102,000 SF in One Colonial Place

RICHMOND, VA-Charter One has leased nearly all of the 118,000-sf building, which is set for completion in November.

RICHMOND, VA-Charter One Mortgage has leased 102,000 sf in One Colonial Place, outside of the city in Henrico County, VA. Advantis Real Estate Services Co. represented Charter One in the transaction. One Colonial Place is owned by One Colonial Place LLC. The 120,000-sf building is set to be completed in November.

In a statement, Advantis’ Charlie Polk said, “The favorable rental terms we were able to negotiate, combined with its geographic location and accessibility to the interstate, made Colonial Place the perfect fit for Charter One.” Polk was not immediately available for further comment. Charter One is headquartered in Richmond and has more than 30 offices in the Midwest and eastern United States. It is a leading retail mortgage lender and servicer of mortgages, with over 230,000 customers.
