Nacore, IDRC Name 2001 Real Estate Executives of the Year

SAN FRANCISCO-William Agnello, senior vice president of workplace resources and executive officer for Sun Microsystems, and Robert Cavigli, president of HDR Architecture, have been named the 2001 Real Estate Executives of the Year by the Northern California and Silicon Valley Chapters of NACORE International and the San Francisco/Silicon Valley Chapter of the IDRC, which will merge its 7,000 members next year under the name CoreNet.

The two individuals will be honored at the Fourth Annual Real Estate Executive of the Year Awards dinner to be held Wed., Nov. 28, 2001, at the Sheraton Palace in San Francisco. Begun by NACORE in 1998, the event attracts more than 250 corporate real estate executives from throughout Northern California.

Looking at categories such as significant projects, value added services, professional accomplishments and community service, a panel of corporate real estate professionals elected Agnello and Cavigli for the award from a list of nominees from throughout the region.” Bill and Bob are visionaries and widely respected throughout our profession,” said Joan Price, co-chair of the San Francisco/Silicon Valley Chapter of the IDRC.
