JPC Architects conceived and developed the design for the firm's new space on the fourth floor of the North building. Pennon Construction has been retained to build out the space. Schnitzer Northwest Managing Principal Dan Ivanoff says the firm expects to move to Civica by early October.
"We are in need of additional office space," says Ivanoff. There is 34,000 sf of office space still available, he adds, and Schnitzer is currently wrapping up negotiations with a full-service restaurant tenant for approximately 8,000 sf in the South building. Bill Pollard and Jeff Durrell at Pacific Real Estate Partners are the leasing agents for Civica. Catherine S. Munson, formerly a property manager with Norris Beggs & Simpson, is the property manager.
In addition to the Schnitzer Northwest, Civica Office Commons is home to Microsoft (39,000 SF), Morgan Stanley Dean Witter (23,000 SF), Wells Fargo (50,000 SF), Waggener Edstrom (45,000 SF), Openwave Systems, formerly Software.com (54,000 SF), Arthur J. Gallagher & Company (33,000), Network Appliance (8,500 SF), Right Management Consultants (4,000SF), and Starbucks Coffee (1,900 SF).
