St. Paul Cos. Offers Deal Anti-Theft Tracking

ST. PAUL, MN-Construction equipment owners can buy LoJack devices at a steep discount in an effort to help companies recover stolen vehicles. Trucking and construction theft is a multi-billion-dollar criminal enterprise.

ST. PAUL, MN-If you have heavy construction equipment, The St. Paul Cos. has a deal to help to prevent your vehicle from getting stolen. The commercial property-liability insurance company is working with LoJack Corp. of Dedham, MA, which makes anti-theft tracking devices for vehicles, will offer customers of The St. Paul to purchase these devices at a steep discount.

The plan applies to St. Paul policyholders with Inland Marine or auto comprehensive insurance as well as heavy construction equipment. LoJack has a national vehicle recovery rate of 90%. According to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, automotive, trucking and construction thefts account for billions of dollars in loss every year.
