$10-Mil IMS Headquarters to Rise in Sun Valley

LOS ANGELES-Construction has commenced on a 138,000-sf headquarters and distribution facility in Sun Valley. The project, which is a build-to-suit for Industrial Metal Supply Co., is valued at $10 million.

The headquarters will rise on a 5.3-acre parcel located at 8300 San Fernando Rd. near Interstate 5. It will include 20,000 sf of mezzanine office space and 118,000-sf of warehouse space, featuring 28-ft minimum clearance, dock high loading and a state-of-the-art material handling system. Oltmans Construction Co. is the project’s general contractor and The Hewson Co. is the construction manager. Designed by Hill Pinckert Architects, the project is scheduled for completion in mid-2002.
