SEATTLE-New Jersey-based Spencer Gifts Inc. has secured 29 leases temporary leases totaling 563,000 sf in Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Hartford, Conn. for its fast-growing Spirit Halloween Superstores subsidiary. Spencer Gifts, in turn, is owned by Universal Studios.

The leases, which began Sept. 1 and run through Nov. 1, collectively exceed 563,000 sf. Michael J. Olsen of The Staubach Company’s Seattle retail sales division represented Spirit Halloween Superstores in the transactions. Last year, Olsen handled the leasing of 107,000 sf for the company. Staubach is headquartered in Dallas, TX.
