WASHINGTON, DC-The law firm Fried, Frank, Harris Shriver & Jacobson has expanded the space it leases at 1001 Pennsylvania Ave. NW by 30,420 sf. The locally based law firm already occupied 117,000 sf at the building. The current space is on the 8th and 9th floors, and the additional space will be on the 5th floor.

Julien J. Studley represented Fried, Frank in the transaction. Lincoln Square Corp owns the 750,000-sf building. American Council of Life Insurance currently occupies the space. ACLI will vacate the space in the first quarter of 2002, when it moves to offices at 101 Constitution Ave.
