The building has been acquired by the current occupant, Competitive Aquatic Supply. The company, which manufactures swimwear, occupies the entire facility. It is located at 15661 Container Lane.
Competitive Aquatic Supply was represented by Kurt Kachigan of Pabst, Kinney & Associates in Long Beach. The seller, Clarence Hanschild, was represented by Mark Jerue of the Lee & Associates Irvine Spectrum office.
Orange County's industrial sector is beginning to cool somewhat, as lease rates have begun to drop in lockstep with the slowing economy, according to a recently released report by Cushman & Wakefield. But the vacancy rate countywide is hovering around 5.7%, close to its historic low.
