DENVER-Foothills Lighting and Supply has paid $6.6 million for a 132,000-sf building that had been the home of Desks Inc. since 1986. ”This is really a landmark building,” Fredrick Ross Co. broker Jeff McClintock said when he listed the building a year ago.

The building along South Santa Fe Drive is by far the largest available, says McClintock, who sold it with fellow Ross broker Mark Wyatt. McClintock says more than 100,000 cars pass the site each day. ”Everybody knows the Desks Inc. building,” he adds.

The facility consists of a 66,000-sf warehouse with 14 loading docks, 54,000 sf of retail and showroom space as well as 12,000 sf of office space.
